Enjoy Apple Jam at Easton Farmers’ Market on October 9

Celebrate fresh, crisp apples during Easton Farmers’ Market’s Apple Jam on Oct. 9. Find 50+ varieties of apples from the Northeast, including heirloom and organic varieties.

Apple Jam at Easton Farmers’ Market, presented by Capital Blue, will run 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Scott Park. Be sure to sign up to try your luck at the Apple Pie Eating Contest at 11:30 a.m.

Stock up on fresh, local apples from Scholl Orchards, Phillips Farms and Salvaterra’s Gardens. Find farm-fresh apple butter, applesauce, apple-infused pastries and even dog treats! Sip freshly-pressed cider. Fill your market bag with apple pies, dumplings and tarts from Tombler’s Bakery and Pie + Tart, or indulge in hot apple fritters from K&S Grille.

Guest vendors include Hardball Cider, Be Love Succulents, Up Cycle Candles, Neil’s Sharpening Service. Enjoy bluegrass music from Serene Green from 10 a.m. to noon. 

2021 EFM Season Details

Masks are required in the shopping area for those who are not fully vaccinated. Hand sanitizer will be available at all vendor locations. The market is dog-friendly, and well-behaved dogs will be welcome. Reusable shopping bags are encouraged.

Easton Farmers’ Market will continue to accept EBT as part of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Thanks to a USDA grant through Buy Fresh Buy Local of the Greater Lehigh Valley (BFBLGLV), the market will offer LV Fresh Food Bucks with EBT purchases matched by BFBLGLV, up to $10 per day. Those enrolled in the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) for qualified seniors, and those in the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in New Jersey and Pennsylvania will be able to use their vouchers at produce vendors who participate in their state’s programs.
