Easton Out Loud To Host Scavenger Hunt With a Sweet Prize
The fun starts 8/22, and culminates with Easton Out Loud on 8/28.
Easton Out Loud, presented by Highmark, kicks off a little early this month, with a socially-distant scavenger hunt that starts Saturday, Aug. 22.
Thanks to a little help from the Ficara Family who run the Forks and Friends Scavenger Challenges, Easton Out Loud participants will be tasked to find “I Heart Easton” medallions hidden throughout Downtown Easton from Aug. 22-Aug. 25. Participants are asked to mask up and adhere to all social distancing guidelines as they search for 22 heart-shaped medallions. Clues will be posted to Facebook.com/EastonOutLoud on Aug. 22, along with the rules of the contest. Once a heart is found, a participant will post a photo on Facebook. The person or family with the most hearts at the end of the contest wins. The winner will be able to create their own limited edition ice cream flavor with Bank Street Creamery, and will receive a quart of their new creation.
Easton Out Loud will be held live on Facebook 6-8:30 p.m. Aug. 28. The limited edition flavor will be available for purchase at Bank Street Creamery during Easton Out Loud. This month in addition to the scavenger hunt, viewers can enjoy live musical performances, cooking demos and more at Facebook.com/EastonOutLoud. Facebook isn’t the only way to enjoy Easton Out Loud. Be sure to check out supporteaston.com for a list of retail shops and galleries to visit, and check out all that Downtown Easton has to offer. This Fourth Friday event is a collaboration between the Greater Easton Development Partnership and the Easton Business Association.
