Parsons-Taylor House

Parsons, who is also known as the “Father of Easton,” died on December 17, 1757 shortly after moving into his new home.  Over the years, the house changed hands and in 1780 George Taylor, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, leased it briefly. Taylor passed away in the home’s upstairs bedroom on February 23, 1781.  General and educational tours are given through open-house events or appointments.
